Touching Story Of A Tough Girl Who Now Fights Against Human Trafficking After Being Defiled More Than 43000 Times

Karla Jacinto, a 23-year-old Mexican who was a victim of human trafficking in Mexico, believes she was raped 43,200 times over 4 years. After escaping from her captors in 2008, Karla became an activist against forced prostitution and has spoken with Pope Francis and the US Congress about policies that could prevent other young girls from being dragged into this industry.
Karla was approached by a 22-year-old trafficker when she was only 12. She remembers staying with her trafficker for three months, and being transported to Guadalajara afterwards. Karla's hometown, Tenancingo, is considered the number one source of sex slaves that are sent to the US.

Karla was once brutally attacked by her captor when he saw a hickey on her neck. According to the her: "He started beating me with a chain all over my body. He punched me with his fists, he kicked me, and pulled my hair, spit at me in the face. He also burned me with the iron”.

Karla says that she didn't have a good perception of police during her years as a sex slave. She remembers one rescue operation from the police that ended up with some officers filming ten year old girls for fun.
